Sensible jurisdictions have banned burning wood and rubbish

Some local governments are more enlightened than others. But here are two news stories about those who’ve got it right:

Hampstead in metropolitan Montreal has banned all wood burning stoves.

New York State has burned all outdoor burning off.

Both examples are best practice examples the rest of the civilised world should follow, including the Kapiti Coast, the whole Wellington Region and all of Australasia.

They are somewhere where clean air is protected by law, and no one has the right to pollute it. Sounds like the right type of laws to make here. No vested interests overriding the good of society. Fair, equitable and just. The way laws should be.

Just brilliant!!! Absolutely brilliant !!! Well done to the sensible legislators.
